Hi! I’m Nichole Rhodes, the Director of Programs for The Club Foundation. I started on this journey working for CF in October of 2000. Since that time, I’ve worn a number of hats and filled a number of roles. I’ve done everything from managing special events to fundraising to scholarships and grants and everything in between. Right now, my main responsibility is managing the Foundation’s Scholarship and Grants Program and coordinating special events. It has been amazing to help the Foundation grow and expand over the years and to have a hand in making a significant impact on the club industry. Millions of dollars impacting thousands of people through scholarships and grants. It’s awesome! And although I’m really proud of those things, the part of this job that I find the most rewarding is in the relationships that I’ve been able to form through working for The Club Foundation. CMAA members, Corporate Partners, colleagues, vendors – there are so many people that I feel fortunate to know.
On a more personal note, anyone who knows me knows that I’m a HUGE fan of the Virginia Tech Hokies. Most Saturdays in the Fall, you can find me cheering them on at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, VA with my husband, Joe and our two daughters, Emma and Bella. We’ve had season tickets for football for a few years and I’m working hard at convincing our kids that Virginia Tech is the only place to be for college. During the warmer months, you’ll most likely find us out on our boat at the lake. I love waterskiing, wakeboarding and spending the weekend out on the water with friends, family and our crazy yellow lab, Beamer (named after the VT football coach, Frank, not the car!). I also love reading, adventure races, chocolate in any form, paper crafting, casual running, cooking/baking (hopefully something chocolate), traveling and being a mom to my two amazing kids.
Thanks for reading a little bit about me….GO HOKIES!!!
